Flightcell simultaneously interfaces an Iridium phone and other communications and audio equipment into one or two connected headsets. Virtually any communications or audio device can be connected: a satellite phone, cellphone, hand-held transceiver, music player, video or audio recorder, or any other specialized audio equipment, such as a medical monitors. Complete cables and connectors for plug and play operation, as well as an AC charger. Optional power via inbuilt rechargeable batteries or 10-30V aircraft power, providing maximum operating flexibility. Portable, so can be moved between aircraft, or even used on the flight line or in a vehicle Master volume control adjusts all audio input and output levels simultaneously. Individual inputs and outputs can be adjusted to match audio levels from specific devices. ISO function on civilian versions isolates the phone from the intercom and reduces intercom/ATC volume by 50%, allowing the user to have a private phone conversation while ATC can be monitored in the background. ISO function on military version isolates user’s microphone from the phone, while incoming phone audio is reduced by 50%. Available in several versions to suit the different headset types used in most aircraft: GA mono (dual plug, for general aviation), GA stereo (dual plug, for general aviation), helicopter (single plug), Bose (for use with Bose X panel-powered stereo headsets), or military (single plug, low impedance)
